1. Equipment Structure and Components
Uncoiler: Holds the raw material coil and supports automatic unwinding, feeding the material into the slitting system.
Guiding Device: Ensures the material remains flat and centered before entering the slitting system.
Slitting Blade Set: Composed of upper and lower circular blades or straight blades, which cut the wide material into multiple narrow strips according to the set width.
Tension Control System: Adjusts the tension of the material during the slitting process to prevent deformation or breakage.
Rewinding Device: Winds the slit narrow strips into separate coils.
Control System: Uses PLC or CNC systems to control slitting speed, tension, cutting precision, and other parameters, enabling automated operation.
Waste Handling Device: Collects edge trimmings or waste generated during the slitting process.
2. Working Principle
1. Uncoiling**: The raw material coil is unwound from the uncoiler and fed into the slitting system through the guiding device.
2. Slitting**: The material passes through the slitting blade set, where the upper and lower blades work together to cut the wide material into multiple narrow strips.
3. Tension Control: The tension control system ensures smooth material handling during slitting, preventing stretching or deformation.
4. Rewinding: The slit narrow strips are wound onto independent rewinding shafts to form finished coils.
5. Waste Handling**: Edge trimmings or waste are automatically collected or recycled.
