IBR Type Galvanized Sheet Rolling Forming Machine
(Also known as IBR Roofing Sheet Machine / IBR Profile Roll Forming Line)
Purpose:
This machine is designed to continuously convert **galvanized steel coils** (or color-coated coils) into **IBR (Inverted Box Rib) roofing sheets - a popular trapezoidal profile widely used in industrial, commercial, and residential roofing for its strength, drainage efficiency, and aesthetic appeal.
Core Components & Structure
1. Uncoiler/Decoiler
Holds and feeds galvanized steel coils into the line.
May include hydraulic expansion arms and coil brakes for tension control.
2. Feeding & Leveling Unit
Pinch Rolls: Pull material steadily into the forming section.
Leveling Rolls: Flatten coiled steel to eliminate curvature or edge waves.
3. Pre-Punching Station (Optional)
Adds fastener holes or ventilation slots before forming.
4. Roll Forming Sectio*
Progressive Roll Forming Dies: 10-20 pairs of hardened steel rollers arranged in stages.
Each roller set gradually bends the flat sheet into the IBR profile:
Key Profile Features:
Wide pan (flat section)
High-tensile inverted trapezoidal ribs
Interlocking side joints
5. Cutting System
Hydraulic Flying Cutoff: Precisely cuts sheets to length (e.g., 2-12 meters) without stopping the line.
Programmable Logic Controller (PLC): Sets cutting length via touchscreen.
6.Output Conveyor & Stacker
Transfers finished sheets and stacks them automatically.
Workflow
Coil Loading` → `Uncoiling` → `Leveling` → `Pre-punching (optional)` → `Roll Forming (IBR Profile Shaping)` → `Flying Cutoff` → `Stacking` → Bundling`
Technical Features
Material Compatibility:
Galvanized steel (GI), Galvalume (AZ), aluminum, or pre-painted coils (PPGI).
Thickness: 0.3-1.0 mm (typical).
Speed: 10-45 meters/minute (depends on material thickness/profile complexity).
Profile Dimensions (Customizable):
Rib Height: 20-40 mm
Effective Coverage Width: 600-1,050 mm
Overall Width: 1,000-1,250 mm (from coil)
Automation:
PLC + HMI touchscreen for parameter control (length, speed, quantity).
Servo-driven cutting for ±1 mm accuracy.
Power: 15-30 kW (3-phase, 380V/50Hz standard).
Advantages of IBR Profile
Structural Strength: Deep ribs provide high load-bearing capacity.
Drainage: Inverted trapezoid design prevents water pooling.
Interlocking Sides: Allows seamless joining, reducing leakage risk.
Corrosion Resistance: Galvanized coating extends lifespan (15-30+ years).
Applications
Roofing & Cladding: Factories, warehouses, farms, stadiums.
Partition Walls: Industrial facilities.
Ceiling Panels: False ceilings in commercial buildings.
Customization Options
Rib height/spacing adjustments.
Integration with embossing rollers (e.g., woodgrain/stone texture).
Automatic coil welding for continuous production.
Online coating (primer/paint) after forming.
