Introduction to Liuli Wa Metal Sheet Roll Forming Machine
The Liuli Wa Metal Sheet Roll Forming Machine is a highly efficient, automated production line specifically designed to continuously form metal coils (such as galvanized steel, color-coated steel, aluminum-magnesium-manganese alloy, stainless steel, etc.) into continuous roofing panels that replicate the shape of traditional glazed tiles (Liuli Wa).
It combines the classical aesthetics of traditional glazed tiles with the durability and lightweight advantages of modern metal materials, serving as the core equipment for producing antique-style metal glazed tiles.
Here is a detailed introduction to this equipment:
Core Functions & Purpose
1. Forming: Progressively bends and rolls flat metal coil through a series of precision-engineered rolls into continuous long panels with specific Liuli Wa waveforms (such as barrel tiles, flat tiles, drip tiles, and end caps).
2. High-Speed Continuous Production: Enables continuous feeding, forming, and cutting-to-length for high-volume, efficient production.
3. Dimensional Accuracy: Ensures highly consistent key dimensions (wave height, wave pitch, width, length) in the finished Liuli Wa panels to meet architectural installation requirements.
4. Surface Protection: Minimizes scratches and abrasion on the metal substrate surface (especially pre-painted or coated sheets) during forming to preserve aesthetics and corrosion resistance.
Main Components
1. Uncoiler/Decoiler:
Holds and unwinds the metal coil.
Typically equipped with expanding mandrels, hold-down arms, uncoiling supports, and may include initial leveling.
2. Feed Guiding/Entry Guide:
Ensures smooth, centered entry of the coil into the main machine.
Includes guide rolls, side guides, etc.
3. Roll Forming Mill (Core Section):
Frame: Robust steel structure supporting all roll shafts and the drive system.
Drive System: Motor (usually variable frequency drive - VFD), reducer, gearbox, universal shafts, etc., providing power to the rolls.
Roll Forming Stations (The Heart):
Consists of multiple pairs (typically 18 to 30+) of precision upper and lower rolls.
Each roll pair is meticulously designed to progressively form a specific section of the metal sheet.
Rolls are usually made of high-quality alloy steel (e.g., Cr12MoV), heat-treated (hardened), and precision ground for hardness, wear resistance, and forming accuracy.
Rolls are mounted on adjustable bearing blocks for easy roll gap setting to accommodate different material thicknesses and fine-tune forming.
Lubrication System: Lubricates roll bearings and gears to reduce wear and ensure smooth operation.
4. Cut-Off System:
Precisely cuts the continuous formed panel at the set length.
Flying Cut-Off (Saw):A saw blade moves synchronously with the panel to cut, then returns; suitable for high speeds.
Hydraulic/Pneumatic Punch Cut-Off: Uses a die to punch-cut the panel; produces clean cuts, high efficiency, low noise; currently the mainstream method.
5. Outfeed Table/Discharge Rack:
Receives the cut Liuli Wa panels; usually a roller conveyor or tilted table for easy collection and handling.
6. Control System:
The Central Brain. Typically uses a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) or industrial PC.
Controls machine operation (start/stop/speed), sets and monitors production parameters (length, count, speed), and provides diagnostics/alarms.
An HMI (Human-Machine Interface) touchscreen allows easy parameter setting and production monitoring.
Advanced machines may use servo systems for more precise cut-off and complex waveform control.
